Setting Up Cyton Board Connections

- Place electrodes on bottom row of pins in slots SRB, N1P-N8P, and Bias
- Bias is the ground, SRB is the reference, and N1P-N8P contain the actual channel data
- important to create this distinction between them bc SRB and BIAS don’t show up in the channels during data acquisition
- important: do not place pin on AGND slot this is meant for chip/component/battery connections
- See left image: Move switch in the green box to “PC”
- Add batteries to battery connector place flat side of battery next to coiled part and mini-cylinder top next to non-coiled part
- See right image: Connect white piece on battery wire to the white piece on bottom side of Cyton board (should fit similar to a puzzle piece)
- Check blue light appears on top side once batteries are connected
Setting Up USB Dongle Connections

- Place usb dongle either into usb port in side of laptop (left image) or connect usb dongle to an additional dongle connected to laptop (right image)
- Check the blue light is on for both the usb dongle
- Important: Please do not touch the switch unless the light is not appearing
- If not move the switch in the rightmost direction
